The New England Patriots added to their receiving corps.

The Patriots agreed to a one-year contract with free-agent wide receiver Brandon Gibson on Tuesday, according to a source. ESPN’s Field Yates reported, via a source, that the deal is worth $825,000.

Gibson caught 29 passes for 295 yards and one touchdown last season with the Miami Dolphins, and he has 233 receptions for 2,711 yards and 13 TDs in six NFL seasons. His best season came in 2012 with the St. Louis Rams, when he caught 51 passes for 691 yards and five scores.

Gibson played under Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels in 2011 with the Rams. The 6-foot, 210-pound receiver caught 36 passes for 431 yards and one touchdown that season.
