Three people now have testified Aaron Hernandez told them he did not killĀ Odin Lloyd, after New England Patriots director of security Mark Briggs said on the stand Tuesday that the former tight end “swore on his baby’s life” he was not involved in the murder.

“I asked him if he was involved in the incident,” Briggs said of a 1-on-1 conversation he had with Hernandez, during testimony in Bristol Superior Court, according to CBS Boston. “He swore on his baby’s life that he was telling the truth.”

Briggs’ testimony came after Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandez’s fiancĆ©e, told the court FridayĀ she also asked Hernandez if he killed Lloyd.

“He said no,” Jenkins said.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft testified earlier Tuesday that Hernandez told him he wasn’t involved in the murder.

Briggs also testified that Hernandez was asked to leave Gillette Stadium in June 2013, as news coverage was building, because his presence was “bad for business.” Michael Fee, one of Hernandez’s defense attorneys, pushed the point.

“It was really the business element that prompted you to ask him to leave, wasn’t it?” Fee asked Briggs.

“Yes,” Briggs said.
