Paul Pierce made his mark on a different kind of hardwood this week.

Those who have followed Pierce throughout the years know that in addition to being one of the better NBA players of his generation, he’s also quite the bowling aficionado.

Pierce last year built a bowling alley in his house, and he joined his Washington Wizards teammates Wednesday for a few frames at a little building known as the White House.

Yes, that White House.

Wizards guard John Wall was able to use his highly unorthodox bowling form to pick up a spare at the presidential lanes, but when it came down to overall score, he couldn’t touch Pierce, who took home the title.

“It was tough, competitive, but at the end, the No. 1 seed always prevails,” the former Boston Celtics forward said while basking in his victory, via Monumental Network.
