Boston Police are investigating a stabbing that allegedly took place at TD Garden during the final minutes of Wednesday’s Boston Celtics-Memphis Grizzlies game, according to multiple news outlets.

An unidentified male victim in his 20s was stabbed with a box cutter during an altercation in the arena’s balcony level, police told WCVB. He reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.

TD Garden released a statement Thursday morning addressing the incident.

“Fan safety is TD Garden’s top priority and we operate under industry standard security procedures for every event,” the statement read. “We are fully cooperating with Boston Police in their investigation of an altercation that occurred last night, and are also in communication with the Celtics and the NBA regarding the incident.”

The Celtics defeated the Grizzlies 95-92.
