Were you a fan of the 2014 Philadelphia Eagles? Too bad, because the 2015 squad likely will look completely different.

Continuing a frantic offseason for Philly, free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is expected to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs once the NFL free agent market opens Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. In Kansas City, Maclin will reunite with head coach Andy Reid, who spent four seasons coaching the speedy wideout in Philadelphia.

Maclin is coming off a stellar year for the Eagles in which he racked up 1,318 and 85 catches, both career highs. He also snagged 10 touchdown passes, tying his career best set in 2010.

The 26-year-old might have a difficult time recreating those stats with the Chiefs, whose wide receivers failed to catch a single touchdown in 2014. Yet Maclin will be the clear-cut favorite of quarterback Alex Smith, especially with No. 1 wideout Dwayne Bowe reportedly on the trading block.

The Eagles, meanwhile, suddenly are in need of offensive firepower after reportedly losing their two most potent weapons in Maclin and running back LeSean McCoy. Philly reportedly is expected to sign running back Frank Gore and cornerback Byron Maxwell and also is eyeing New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty once he becomes a free agent Tuesday.
