Try again, FedEx Field.

Organizers of an exhibition game between El Salvador and Argentina at FedEx Field in Landover, Md., botched one of soccer’s hallowed traditions Saturday when they played the wrong anthem for El Salvador minutes before kickoff.

The playing of the wrong anthem stunned Salvadoran players and fans, who expressed their disapproval throughout the song, which actually is the anthem of the Isle of Man, according to USA TODAY.

The anthem fail overshadowed the absences of Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero from Argentina’s lineup, which would have been the game’s primary talking point under normal circumstances.

Argentina won the game by a score of 2-0, but that might not have been the most disappointing aspects to El Salvador players, fans in attendance and the estimated 100,000-plus Salvadoran immigrants who live and work in the Washington D.C. metro area.
