Torey Krug was probably pretty confused when he opened Twitter on Friday morning.
Krug knows he’s got a teammate named Brad Marchand. They’ve been teammates for multiple years. At this point, Krug almost certainly knows Marchand’s first name is “Brad,” so it was probably a little perplexing when Krug saw “Andrew Marchand” in the headline of a story about the Bruins’ shootout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.
Krug quickly grabbed a screen shot of the tweet and tweeted it out on his own account with a couple of perfect “#andy” and #drew” hashtags.

Marchand replied by saying he’s been called worse, and given his reputation as something of a pest, we certainly believe him.
There’s an obvious explanation for this. There’s an ESPN.com writer named Andrew Marchand, which likely explains the mix-up. Regardless, though, this typo isn’t going to do much to help the perception ESPN is biased against hockey.
