Ben Affleck is all in on the 2015 Boston Red Sox.
The actor and diehard Boston sports fan is putting the team’s 2014 last-place finish behind him and starting fresh with the new campaign. It seems Affleck has caught baseball fever after the Red Sox’s season-opening series win over the Philadelphia Phillies, posting a tweet that’s sure to get Boston fans all fired up before Friday night’s game against the rival New York Yankees.

According to The Associated Press, Affleck bid $50,000 for the Red Sox-themed license plate at an auction back in 2003. Plate No. 1 is Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr’s retired number.
The proceeds all went to The Jimmy Fund.
