Celtics-Cavs Game 1 Was One Of Most-Watched First-Round Games Ever

The eyes of the nation truly were fixed on Cleveland on Sunday.

Game 1 of the first-round playoff series between the Cavaliers and Boston Celtics drew a 4.5 overnight rating, according to Nielsen, making it the third-most-watched first-round game in NBA playoff history.

The game, which the Cavs won 113-100, also was the fourth-highest-rated first-round tilt ever in both Boston and Cleveland, drawing a 7.5 rating in the former and an enormous 20.9 rating in the latter.

Yes, folks in Northeast Ohio really do love them some LeBron James.

Game 2 is set for Tuesday night in Cleveland before the series shifts to TD Garden for Game 3.
