It’s safe to say the Boston Celtics’ run to the playoffs was a bit unexpected.

Even, it appears, for event planners at their own arena.

The Celtics won the last six games of their regular season to storm into the NBA playoffs as the Eastern Conference’s No. 7 seed after starting the campaign near the league’s basement. They’ll face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers in a first-round series that begins Sunday in Ohio and comes to Boston next Thursday.

The Cavs are heavy favorites, but if the C’s are able to win two games, they’ll force a Game 6 at the Garden on April 30. The only problem? This.

Eric Church

Yes, that’s an Eric Church concert, and yes, it’s scheduled for April 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET, roughly the same time as a potential series-deciding NBA playoff game.

Of course, Church’s tour dates were released long ago, back when the thought of the Celtics in the postseason was as probable as the country singer busting out some rap lyrics on stage. Plus, the chances are about as likely that Boston actually makes it to Game 6.

Nonetheless, TD Garden acknowledged the potential conflict and assured fans that Church’s concert would be rescheduled in the event of, well, a miracle.

Here’s hoping that concert gets rescheduled (sorry, Eric Church fans).
