David Ortiz, Tom Brady Take Epic Selfie At Red Sox’s Home Opener (Video)

David Ortiz knows a thing or two about selfies. So when Tom Brady showed his face at Fenway Park on Monday, you can bet the Boston Red Sox slugger made the most of the opportunity.

Brady threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Big Papi before the Boston Red Sox’s home opener against the Washington Nationals, and Ortiz made quite the scoop to save the New England Patriots quarterback some embarrassment.

Perhaps in a sign of gratitude, Brady agreed to pose with the Sox slugger in what might be the most clutch selfie in Boston sports history.

You know your selfie is epic when others are taking pictures of it.

For the record, Brady and Ortiz have seven titles between them (four for Brady, three for Ortiz) as well as four championship MVP awards (three Super Bowl MVPs for Brady, one World Series MVP for Ortiz). And now they have a timeless photo to add to their collection.

Brady also had a bat in his hand in the picture, indicating that his mash session with Baseball Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez wasn’t too far off. Not a bad day.
