Eric Berry’s brother has some good news about the Kansas City Chiefs safety’s cancer treatments.

Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December after doctors found a mass in his chest. But younger brother Evan, who’s a defensive back at Berry’s alma mater Tennessee, said everything has been going smoothly.

“He’s doing really good,” Evan Berry said, via The Kansas City Star. “I think he has three more treatments left. To be honest, I don’t really see it affecting him. He’s a very strong person, and he’s continued to keep strong.”

The younger Berry said his brother has had a great attitude, too.

“It was scary,” Berry said. “But he wasn’t worried, so I wasn’t worried.”

Hodgkin’s lymphoma is considered to be very treatable, so Berry’s prognosis is good. Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt and general manager John Dorsey also receive regular updates on Berry’s status, The Star reported.
