Floyd Mayweather made his grand entrance to MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday, but there was really nothing grand about it.

“Money” Mayweather did manage to scoop up Southern University’s marching band, who put on an entertaining show if you’re into marching bands.

If you’re not, this was kind of lame. We expected more, Floyd.

Doug E. Fresh was the MC of the event. You might know Doug E.’s name from Cali Swag District’s 2011 hit song “Teach Me How To Dougie,” about the former rapper’s one dance move, but other than that you probably don’t.

At least Floyd tried.

Of course, Mayweather took the opportunity to remind us how much money he makes in the ultimate humblebrag of the week.

“It’s not just about making money, it’s about giving back,” Mayweather said. “We always trying to make a difference. Of course, I make a lot of money, but I also like to give back to the American citizens.”

Mayweather revealed later in the day just how much money he’ll make from his fight with Manny Pacquiao on Saturday.

Arguably more entertaining than Mayweather’s entrance was the YouTube comments beneath the video from Tuesday’s event.

Take this one, for example.
