Giancarlo Stanton is used to making highlight reels. But they usually involve him circling the bases, not throwing runners out at them.

The Miami Marlins slugger led the National League last season with 37 home runs, but the 25-year-old took some time during Wednesday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves to show off a few of the other skills that make him a five-tool player.

Stanton’s leaping catch to rob Freddie Freeman was impressive, but it nearly was topped by the absolute cannon he threw to first base to double off Nick Markakis. Not surprisingly, Markakis stared at Stanton in a state of disbelief following the play.

You know you’re good when you draw the incredulous look that Markakis was gave Stanton when he reached the dugout.
