Apple made headlines earlier this week when its new iOS 8.3 software update included a bunch of new emojis for the iPhone.
Looks like they missed a couple.
The new release didn’t have too many emojis in the sports department, especially when it came to specific teams and players. So the folks at Sports Illustrated took it upon themselves to design their own. The results were awesome.

We’re not saying we need these emojis, but we need these emojis. Applebaum’s full collection is definitely worth a look, but for now, we’ll leave you with this gem of Jaromir Jagr rocking a mullet.
