Kris Bryant has come a long way from getting heckled at his own stadium.

The Chicago Cubs phenom has put up impressive numbers since his brutal MLB debut, going 6-for-10 with four RBIs since since his three-strikeout performance last Friday.

Three of those six hits came in Monday’s 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, and one was more entertaining than Bryant’s seventh inning base-knock, in which he turned back the clock to the not-so-distant past with an old fashioned Little League homer.

Bryant officially was credited with a two-run double, advancing to third on the throw home and scoring on an error by Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli. In reality, Bryant’s attempt to score wasn’t too smart, but at least the 23-year-old was being aggressive.

His Cubs teammates likely didn’t mind, as Bryant also added an RBI single in the fifth inning and finished the night 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
