Tiger Woods An ‘Amazing Father,’ Says Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn (Video)

Divorce is a sticky situation, especially when it’s as public and embarrassing as Tiger Woods’ was.

It’s often even worse for the kids, though, and given the nature of Woods’ problems, no one would blame his children for having a difficult relationship with their father.

For now, though, Tiger seems to be doing a heck of a job. At least according to his girlfriend, skier Lindsey Vonn.

When asked about her relationship with Woods’ children, Vonn took the opportunity to throw Tiger plenty of compliments.

“They’re great. They’re amazing kids, and he’s an amazing father,” Vonn told People magazine. “You know, I feel privileged to be along for the ride, and I help as much as I can. They’re great kids — I love ’em.”

Back in February, Woods went out of his way to reiterate his commitment to being a father to his children away from the golf course when asked about his struggles.

“I want to spend as much time as I can with my kids,” Woods said. “I have split custody, so when I’m at home, I want to be home with them, take them to a soccer game or to school or to activities, whatever it is. I’m their dad.”

Vonn also recently made headlines for being a fantastic girlfriend, after her appearance on NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” The “Late Night” host asked Vonn whether she liked golf and her endearing response was pretty funny.
