There are worse comparisons to make than viewing Bill Belichick as a jedi, right?
While the sight of the New England Patriots head coach and his team might conjure thoughts of the “Imperial March,” one devoted “Star Wars” fan and designer sees the Patriots more along the lines of the good guys. Or, at the very least, he saw the Patriots fitting the design best.
John Raya has redesigned every NFL logo and helmet with some sort of “Star Wars” theme or character. The results are pretty spectacular, including the Patriots one he redesigned as the Coruscant Jedis.
That one’s pretty good, but Raya’s best work might have been the Oakland Raiders. Sure, it’s kind of a layup, but it just fits so perfectly that he just had to do it.
