Paul Pierce Wants To Sweep Raptors Because He’s Tired Of Going Through Customs

Paul Pierce has plenty of motivation to close out the Toronto Raptors.

Pierce and the Washington Wizards took a 2-0 series lead with a Game 2 win Tuesday night, and the two teams now head to D.C. to continue the series. Pierce is hoping the Wizards can wrap things up, not only to advance to the next round but also to ensure he doesn’t have to return to Toronto.

We don’t know whether Pierce has anything personal against Toronto or even Canada in general (although he’s probably not a huge fan of the newspapers), but he certainly has something against the actual traveling part. More specifically, he’s sick of going through customs.

Games 3 and 4 are in Washington, with Game 5 in Toronto, so the Raptors have to finish the sweep if Pierce is going to get his wish.

Whatever it takes to keep you motivated, man.
