Rajon Rondo and the Dallas Mavericks have not had a marriage made in heaven, but the partnership might have hit rock bottom Tuesday. Rondo was essentially benched, playing just 10 minutes of the Mavs’ Game 2 playoff loss to the Houston Rockets, amid some unflattering moments for the former All-Star.

NESN.com’s Mike Cole and Ben Watanabe discussed Rondo’s rocky present and future in their latest podcast. They also touched on an unusual number of April MLB flare-ups and the unnecessary hoopla surrounding the NFL schedule release.
