Red Sox COO Sam Kennedy Fields Questions In The MLB Chatting Cage (Video)

It was a special day in Red Sox Nation on Monday.

Boston played its home opener at Fenway Park against the Washington Nationals, holding a moving pregame ceremony before rolling to a 9-4 win. Before those festivities, though, Red Sox executive vice president and COO Sam Kennedy was on the hot seat in the Edward Jones MLB Chatting Cage.

Kennedy covered all the bases while fielding questions from fans, talking about the team’s “Calling All Kids” initiative, revealing his favorite Fenway Park tradition and coming clean about whether he stayed up for Boston’s 19-inning marathon against the New York Yankees.
