The Red Sox and Phillies are taking Throwback Thursday to a whole new level.

The teams will wear retro hats commemorating their 1915 World Series clash — which the Red Sox won in five games — for Thursday’s series finale at Citizens Bank Park. At the time, the title was Boston’s third World Series championship, and the first of back-to-back titles they would win.

So just how retro are these hats? Put it this way: The last time anyone wore these hats, President Woodrow Wilson threw out the first pitch.

The Phillies are planning other commemorative activities, including re-enacting that first pitch, a video tribute, and commemorative base jewels.
