The rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays might not be the same as it once was.

A multitude of new faces in the Tampa Bay dugout are highlighted by Kevin Cash, a former Red Sox backup catcher. He replaces longtime Rays manager Joe Maddon, who left in the offseason to take over the Chicago Cubs.

NESN’s Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy discussed the dynamic Red Sox-Rays relationship ahead of Tuesday night’s series opener at Tropicana Field.

“It might be a rivalry that has to start all over again, depending on how both teams play,” Remy said.
