Red Sox Stats 2015: Who Will Lead Boston In Home Runs, Etc.? (Photos)

The Boston Red Sox’s veterans will be forced to fend off some newcomers for statistical supremacy in 2015.

The only stat that matters, of course, is wins. And the Red Sox’s season will be a disappointment if they don’t win ballgames and 2015 looks anything like 2014. But since making predictions is fun, albeit fruitless, we might as well project who will lead the Red Sox in several statistical categories.

FanGraphs posted ZiPS projections for the Red Sox — and every other Major League Baseball team — earlier this offseason. The projections are high on the Sox, predicting Boston will win 87 games (the fourth-most in MLB) while scoring a whole bunch of runs.

But what about the Red Sox’s individual stat leaders? Who will hit the most home runs, steal the most bases or post the best ERA?

The link below includes NESN.com’s statistical leader projections, as well as a look at how those projections compare to the 2015 ZiPS projections posted by FanGraphs.
