Rob Gronkowski has seen Tom Brady make some impressive throws over the years — so much so that he couldn’t believe his eyes when Brady bounced one Monday.

The New England Patriots quarterback was at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox’s home opener to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and let’s just say it wasn’t the four-time Super Bowl winner’s best work. Gronkowski, who knows Brady was once a pretty good baseball player, thinks it had to be an act.

“I don’t know how he didn’t get it over the plate,” Gronkowski told FOX Sports’ Jimmy Traina. “He might have done that on purpose. I’m gonna ask him. You gotta at least get it to the catcher without a bounce.”

Brady poked fun at his poor throw on Facebook, where he’s become almost as big a celebrity as he is on the football field. The 37-year-old owns social media in a way that shocks his younger teammate.

“Every day that I look on the Internet, I swear, he has a Facebook post and it’s all over the place,” Gronk said. “Throughout the season, this offseason, he’s just doing an unbelievable job.”
