Stolen Car Returned To St. Louis Owner Pimped-Out, Painted (Video)

Getting your car stolen seldom leads to a happy ending, but a Missouri woman was doubly lucky.

Not only did Becky Schoenig of St. Charles, Mo., have her Ford Fusion Hybrid recovered, but she got it back with new red racing stripes down the side and crimson-painted wheels, according to USA Today. Aside from reeking of marijuana smoke inside, the car was reportedly in good condition after it was recovered.

Schoenig had the pimped-out features removed, but she does have something to remember the experience. The owner of a lunch shop, Schoenig named a smoothie after Mick Sexton, the biker who helped police recover the car. Sexton, the hero of this story, also seems like just a hero in general, as his reaction to having a drink named after him is perfect.

“I thought it might be an Anheuser-Busch product,” Sexton told KSDK in St. Louis, “but I’ll settle for a Smoothie.”
