Baseball purists, avert your eyes.

We knew things would get ugly at Wrigley Field this offseason when the Chicago Cubs unveiled plans to give the old ballpark some major renovations. Things haven’t been going too well so far, but on Wednesday, pictures finally revealed some progress.

Of course, you’ll notice the outfielder bleachers aren’t exactly looking game-ready. Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney revealed in January that the left-field bleachers likely won’t be completed until early May, while the right-field grandstands won’t be finished until the end of the month.

On the bright side, at least Cubs fans now can watch replays of Jon Lester’s strikeouts. Although the owners of rooftop businesses behind the new addition obviously won’t be happy with the view.
