2015 NFL Draft: Patriots Trade Third, Seventh-Round Picks To Browns

FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots made their first trade of the 2015 NFL Draft near the end of Friday’s third round.

The reigning Super Bowl champions dealt their first third-round pick (96th overall) and a seventh-round selection (219th overall) to the Cleveland Browns for three picks.

New England selected Oklahoma defensive end Geneo Grissom with the 97th pick.

The Patriots now have seven picks in rounds four through seven, which will be made Saturday.

Earlier on Friday, New England used its second-round selection (64th overall) to draft Stanford safety Jordan Richards.
