Xzavier Dickson is the first member of the New England Patriots’ 2015 draft class reach a contract agreement.
Dickson, a 6-foot-3, 268-pound outside linebacker selected in the seventh round, agreed to terms Thursday on a four-year contract with the Patriots, according to his representation, Enter-Sports Management.
The Alabama product recorded 42 tackles as a senior last season and led the Crimson Tide with nine sacks and 12 1/2 tackles for loss. New England selected him 253th overall — the fourth-to-last pick in the draft.
