Yaya Toure’s star-burst Premier League career soon could be coming to an end.

Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk told Sky Sports on Thursday the Ivorian most likely will leave Manchester City this summer. Toure’s relationship with Manchester City has grown increasingly contentious over the last 12 months, and clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan reportedly are interested in signing him.

“It’s 90 percent certain he’ll leave Manchester City this summer,” Seluk said, according to Sky Sports. “Nothing has been decided — we are waiting until the end of the season.”

Toure established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League after joining Manchester City from Barcelona in 2010 in a transfer worth around £24 million ($36.6 million). Toure has helped Manchester City win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one Football League cub.

Toure’s goal-scoring prowess sets him apart from his peers, and his importance to Manchester City is beyond dispute.

However, Manchester City still could be willing to part ways with Toure, who turns 32 next week. Toure is one of Manchester City’s and the Premier League’s highest earners, and his contract will have two years to run after this season. If the recently dethroned Premier League champion believes Toure’s best days are behind him, it makes sound business sense to sell him this summer to the highest bidder before his value begins to drop quickly.
