Premier Boxing Champions will treat fans to a full schedule of fights Saturday in Boston, headlined by the main event between American Andre Dirrell and England’s James DeGale with the world super middleweight title at stake.

“NBC could have picked a lot of places and a lot of venues to re-introduce boxing, but they picked Boston, and they picked these two gentlemen to feature in this event,” Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker said Thursday during a press conference at Fenway Park.

“I think it makes a great statement.”

The main card, which also includes a fantastic matchup between Worcester, Mass., native Edwin Rodriguez and undefeated Craig Baker, should produce thrilling fights featuring four powerful, determined fighters all looking to make a big statement.

It’s not often we see two fights between boxers with so much at stake in their careers. Not only is a title at stake in Dirrell vs. DeGale, the winner of Rodriguez-Baker also will take another step toward earning that same opportunity in his division.

Here’s all the information you need to watch Saturday’s fights from Boston University’s Agganis Arena.
