Brittney Griner Marries Fellow WNBA Star Glory Johnson In Phoenix (Video)

Brittney Griner is back in the news, but this time it’s for a much happier reason.

Just over two weeks after she was arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct, Griner married fellow WNBA star Glory Johnson at a resort in Phoenix.

Johnson celebrated the occasion in a pair of Instagram posts, one of which was accompanied by a long message to fans and supporters.

Griner, who led the Phoenix Mercury to a WNBA title in her first season in the league, pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge and voluntarily entered counseling. The original charges stemmed from a physical dispute with Johnson, who is a two-time WNBA All-Star with the Tulsa Shock. The two got in engaged in August 2014.
