For a guy who dropped 77 F-bombs in an ignorant, idiotic rant to the media that really made no sense whatsoever, it’s tough to hit a new low. But Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price potentially reached one.

Price was ejected before a pitch was even thrown in Saturday’s game against the Cleveland Indians. Crew chief Jim Reynolds tossed Price after lineup cards were exchanged, according to The Associated Press.

Price and Reynolds reportedly had a long conversation that continued while Cleveland took the field, which resulted in Price being thrown out before first pitch.

The Reds had lost six consecutive game headed into Saturday’s matinee, and with reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber set to take the mound, we wouldn’t be surprised if Price just wanted to take a nap instead.

Cincinnati lost, 2-1, so it seems Price didn’t miss much.
