Tom Brady has a friend in Donald Trump.

The real estate mogul joined the likes of Tedy Bruschi and Chris Christie on Friday in defending the New England Patriots quarterback, who is embroiled in controversy following the Wells Report’s release. Trump very clearly is on Team Brady, explaining in a tweet that the quarterback would have destroyed the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game using any ball.

Solid humblebrag by Mr. Trump adding that the two are pals, by the way.

Brady, in his first public appearance since the Wells Report came out Wednesday, dodged the majority of DeflateGate questions tossed his way Thursday night at Salem State University. If only Trump had come to his defense sooner, he could have been the one answering them for him.
