Dwight Howard Has Enough Of Heckler, Invites Fan To ‘Come Out Here’ (Video)

Dwight Howard has something of a reputation for being soft, but he’s apparently more than willing to take on fans.

The Houston Rockets center had his big-boy pants on during Sunday night’s playoff game with the Los Angeles Clippers, and finally had enough with those vaunted Clippers fan hecklers.

A flustered Howard let his emotions get the best of him, inviting a heckler to “come out here” onto the court. What exactly they’d do when they got out there we’re not exactly sure, but it’s unlikely Howard just wanted to play a friendly game of a 1-on-1.

If you were going to pick a game to heckle the All-Star big man, Sunday night certainly sufficed. Howard had a miserable night, scoring just seven points and pulling down a measley six rebounds. He was completely outplayed by Clippers center DeAndre Jordan who poured in 26 points to go along with 17 rebounds in L.A.’s 33-point win.

It’s unlikely any of this surprises someone like Kobe Bryant, who was caught on camera earlier this season calling Howard “soft” during an on-court dust-up.
