Kentucky Derby 2015: Latest Odds For American Pharoah, Dortmund

The 141st running of the Kentucky Derby will take place Saturday at Churchill Downs.

Last year’s race was won by fan favorite California Chrome, who also was able to win the Preakness Stakes before failing in his bid for the Triple Crown with a disappointing finish in the Belmont Stakes.

There hasn’t been a Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

The favorites in 2015 among a deep field are American Pharoah at 3-1 and Dortmund at 4-1. Both horses are trained by the legendary Bob Baffert, who hasn’t won the Kentucky Derby since 2002. The long shot is Frommento at 79-1 odds.

Several of the horses that will compete in this race are undefeated, so there’s a good chance for an exciting finish.
