Forget the other reports — a Tom Brady suspension is not imminent.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Boston.com on Saturday that “no decisions have been made” regarding any potential punishment for Brady. Reports surfaced Friday claiming that it was not a matter of if Brady would be suspended, but rather for how long the reigning Super Bowl MVP would be forced to sit.

Gary Meyers of The New York Daily News reported that a Brady suspension was indeed coming, and CSNNE’s Mike Giardi added that the New England Patriots were “fearful” of a suspension, which he reported could be as long as six to eight games.

Aiello said the Daily News’ headline was “misleading” in an email to Boston.com and the piece simply “is Gary Meyers’ prediction.”
