The New England Patriots have been busy since the 2015 NFL Draft ended Saturday night.
The Patriots officially locked up eight members of their 11-man draft class and signed seven undrafted free agents, the team announced Friday afternoon.
The Patriots signed sixth-round pick tight end AJ Derby, seventh-round pick defensive lineman Xzavier Dickson, fourth-round pick defensive lineman Trey Flowers, fourth-round pick offensive lineman Tre’ Jackson, fourth-round pick offensive lineman Shaq mason, second-round pick defensive back Jordan Richards, seventh-round pick defensive back Darryl Roberts and sixth-round pick linebacker Matthew Wells.
Third-round pick defensive lineman Geneo Grissom signed a four-year deal worth $2.891 million with a $581,948 signing bonus, The Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson reported Friday.
The only draft picks who remain unsigned are first-round pick defensive lineman Malcom Brown and fifth-round pick long snapper Joe Cardona. Unsigned draft picks can take part in offseason workouts.
The Patriots also signed undrafted free agents center David Andrews, wide receivers Devin Gardner and Chris Harper, defensive backs Jimmy Jean, Brandon King and Eric Patterson, and defensive lineman Vince Taylor.
UPDATE (Saturday, 5:00 p.m. ET): The Patriots officially announced the signing of Grissom, the ninth draftee signed by the team, on Saturday. New England did not disclose the terms of the deal.
