Peyton Manning Sings ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ On Stage With Dierks Bentley (Video)

Peyton Manning might be one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, but, golly, he is an awful singer.

The Denver Broncos quarterback is having a much more relaxing offseason than his suspended rival in Foxboro, Mass. — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady — and that continued recently at a benefit gala in Indianapolis.

Manning recently hosted the Celebration of Caring Fundraiser Gala in Indy, and country music superstar Dierks Bentley was on hand to provide the entertainment. At one point during the evening, Manning joined Bentley on stage to sing along with Bentley as the duo covered the Johnny Cash hit “Folsom Prison Blues.”

The results were less than spectacular.

This is nothing new for Manning. In fact, it’s something of a tradition at the gala. He helped another country star, Jake Owen, sing the same song at the 2014 gala.

In 2013, Manning and Luke Bryan teamed up to sing the song, all with similar results.

This also gives us a reason to show you this classic video from years ago, as Manning came on stage at a Kenny Chesney show at the University of Tennessee to sing along.
