Wade Miley will attempt to grab the bull by the horns Saturday when he starts for the Boston Red Sox against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park.
On Friday, the left-hander took the cow by the udders.
Miley faced off against Rangers reliever Ross Ohlendorf in a pregame cow-milking contest in Arlington. Ohlendorf pulled out a close victory, but Miley gave him a run for his money in enemy territory.
The cow-milking contest offered somewhat of a preview to Friday’s game, as the Rangers also took care of business between the lines en route to a 7-4 win.
