The New England Patriots might not be finished adding veteran cornerbacks this offseason.

The Patriots hosted Tarell Brown on a visit Tuesday, ESPN.com’s Mike Reiss reported. This is Brown’s second visit with the Patriots this offseason.

Brown’s 2014 season ended early with a foot injury. He started 14 games for the Oakland Raiders last season, recording 55 tackles with four passes defensed.

Brown originally was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Texas by the San Francisco 49ers. He has 11 career interceptions.

The Patriots currently have nine cornerbacks on their roster: Malcolm Butler, Bradley Fletcher, Justin Green, Jimmy Jean, Robert McClain, Eric Patterson, Darryl Roberts, Logan Ryan and Daxton Swanson. The Patriots have released cornerbacks Alfonzo Dennard and Kyle Arrington this offseason. They also declined to pick up Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner’s 2015 options.

The Patriots’ starting cornerback roles are up for grabs and could be decided in training camp and the preseason.
