Raheem Sterling wants out.

Sterling will tell Liverpool he won’t sign a new contract and wants to leave the club this summer, Sky Sports, the BBC and The Telegraph reported Monday. Sterling’s agent, Aidy Ward, will deliver the bombshell news to Liverpool’s directors when they meet this week, according to the reports.

Sterling, 20, is Liverpool’s second-leading goal-scorer this season with 11 goals in 52 games in all competitions.

Sterling’s existing contract expires in 2017. He rejected Liverpool’s most recent offer before deciding to postpone further negotiations until the end of the season.

Liverpool reportedly remains adamant Sterling will play for the club next season, but the latest will add more fuel to transfer rumors that surround him. Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are just three Premier League rivals who reportedly are interested in signing Sterling, while foreign clubs also are monitoring his situation.
