Steven Gerrard Refuses To Sign L.A. Galaxy Jersey Before LFC Exit (Video)

Steven Gerrard will conduct himself as a Liverpool player until the moment he no longer represents his boyhood club.

Gerrard refused to sign a fan’s Los Angeles Galaxy jersey Saturday during his Anfield farewell. Gerrard told the waiting fan he won’t sign Galaxy items “until I’m there.” Another fan who was in the stands nearby captured the moment on video and shared it on Twitter.

Gerrard, 34, will join the Galaxy in July, ending a 17-plus-year career in Liverpool’s first team.

Gerrard became a Liverpool legend through his determination and immense loyalty over the years. That legacy will remain perfectly intact through his last game for Liverpool — this Sunday at Stoke City.
