2015 NHL Draft: Players Bruins Should Target With 14th Pick (Photos)

The 2015 NHL Draft is an important one for the Boston Bruins.

The Original Six club needs to add speed and scoring to its prospect pool, which currently lacks depth. The B’s have the 14th pick in Round 1, their highest selection since 2008 (excluding picks acquired from Toronto in Phil Kessel trade).

Boston was fortunate that Czech winger David Pastrnak fell to them at No. 25 overall in last year’s draft. Pastrnak was one of two first-round picks from the 2014 draft — the other was Florida Panthers No. 1 pick Aaron Ekblad — to play in more than 40 games in 2014-15.

The Bruins have an opportunity to draft another fantastic player at No. 14. This year’s draft class is loaded with high-end talent and depth at several positions, including center and defenseman, which are two positions Boston should target.
