The Boston Red Sox will play the second game of their three-game road series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night, and will look to earn their third victory in the last four games.

Much of the team’s recent success is due in large part to the stellar play of recently acquired outfielder Alejandro De Aza.

“He’s been a big help,” NESN’s Jerry Remy said during “Red Sox Game Day Live.” “With Hanley Ramirez out of the lineup, it becomes critical that the (Red Sox) have somebody to come in and do a job.

“(De Aza) has done the job not only offensively, but defensively he’s been very good in left field.”

In 20 games with the Red Sox, De Aza has batted .317 with three home runs and 11 RBIs, with 10 of his 20 hits resulting in extra bases.

De Aza will start in left field and bat in the seven spot Tuesday, as the Red Sox look to earn their second straight victory against their divisional rival.
