Bobby Portis, Who Once Blasted Bulls, Begs Forgiveness After They Draft Him

Bobby Portis joined fellow NBA draftee Larry Nance Jr. in learning an important lesson Thursday night.

Tweets don’t go away. Ever.

You see, Nance tweeted a tasteless Kobe Bryant rape joke three years ago — and then had some explaining (and deleting) to do when the Mamba’s team drafted him.

Four years ago, Portis also threw some Twitter heat toward Pau Gasol, Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls — whom on Thursday night drafted him 22nd overall.

That left Portis, who once proclaimed he was on “Team Heat,” to fess up and acknowledge his mistake to his new Bulls teammates.

Ah, donuts. The universal peace offering. Smooth move, Bobby.
