Not to pull a Kanye West or anything, but Brent Grimes had the best catch of all time. Sorry, Odell Beckham Jr.

The Miami Dolphins defensive back wowed fans when he elevated to snag a touchdown pass away from Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, arguably the best receiver in the NFL. But it was Johnson’s lack of effort on the play that led to the remarkable grab, according to FootballbyFootball.com‘s Matt Chatham.

“Both catches by Grimes and Beckham were things of football beauty. You’d be hard pressed to find a defensive player make a more impressive grab of a football from now until you die,” Chatham praises. “I’d be fine if we just left it at that. But we’re looking for shades of grey here to help explain all that’s really going on in the art you see, so as redonkulous as the snag was by Grimes, it’s worth noting that he is getting an unfettered, unchallenged play on the ball.”
