Boston Bruins fans were stunned to see their team trade away two of its marquee players ahead of the 2015 NHL Draft.

Torey Krug was right there with them.

The Bruins on Friday dealt defenseman Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames and forward Milan Lucic to the Los Angeles Kings.

Krug shared his reaction to the news while speaking to NESN’s Nikki Reyes at the Bruins’ draft night party at TD Garden, just a few hours after the trades were announced.

The departure of Hamilton, who made his NHL debut one season after Krug, was a sizable blow to the Bruins’ defense corps. The 22-year-old led all Boston blueliners with 42 points last season, and only he and Krug (39) topped 20.
