The Boston Celtics have two first-round picks in the 2015 NBA Draft, one at No. 16 and another at No. 28. This is a pretty deep class, so the Celtics should be able to select a quality player with their first pick in Round 1.
The interesting part for Boston is it doesn’t have an overwhelming need. Of course, frontcourt depth and rebounding are two of the primary needs for the C’s to address, but if a better player at a different position slides down the board, there’s no reason for Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge and his team to pass on the best player available approach.
We took at look at eight players who could be available and could be worth the Celtics targeting at No. 16.
