COMNEBOL is having trouble deciding what to do with Neymar.

CONMEBOL, South America’s soccer confederation and organizers of the 2015 Copa America, provisionally banned Neymar for one game Thursday as a sanction for his meltdown after Brazil’s loss to Colombia the night before, ESPN and Paulo Freitas reported on Twitter.

CONMEBOL’s latest Neymar decision came just one hour after it initially announced a two-game ban for the Brazil and Barcelona star.

Neymar will miss Brazil’s group-stage finale against Venezuela on Friday. Brazil likely will do whatever it takes to ensure Neymar, its best attacking player, is available for potential quarterfinal, semifinal and final games.

Neymar was shown his second yellow card (then a red) after the final whistle for kicking the ball into an opponent from close range and headbutting another Colombia player. Neymar’s outburst sparked a near-melee on the field.
